At least some of the defenders of the exhibit have been armed, and have been reportedly users of Antifa. They were being presumably there to offer stability for the patrons, performers, and the company.
Footage shared by conservative political commentator Sara Gonzales displays drag queens in flashy costumes dancing on tables and gathering money from the audience. Gonzales mentioned there were being about 20 minors current.

Passions apparently raged on the two sides, as noticed in footage from exterior the bar. At the very least just one girl expressed her anger at the protesters by flashing her breasts as she drove away.

The controversy was triggered by the entrepreneurs of the Anderson Distillery and Grill, a relatives-owned business enterprise in Roanoke, Texas, who claimed they welcome “all varieties of booze and all types of people” when they announced the function, the ‘Barrel Babes Brunch’, a few weeks back. The bar suggested that patrons who really don’t delight in drag shows could take a look at some other working day.
The scheduled overall performance apparently faced some pushback in the city of close to 9,000. Roanoke Metropolis Manager Scott Campbell instructed the Dallas Specific that the bar had no allow to function a sexually oriented enterprise, so the display could be in violation of local laws.
