FOURTEEN bins taken from ex-President Donald Trump’s Florida estate by the FBI contained documents marked categorized, it was revealed yesterday.
The specifics emerged in an affidavit unveiled by the US justice division.
It explained the containers, retrieved from Mar-a-Lago in January, contained “a ton of labeled records”.
The closely redacted document went on: “Of most considerable concern was that highly categorised records were being unfoldered, intermixed with other documents, and or else unproperly identified.”
The affidavit persuaded a judge to authorise the search of Mar-a-Lago 19 times in the past as aspect of a legal investigation.
That look for unearthed 11 far more bins of information.
Mr Trump vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
He claimed his passports have been “stolen” by the FBI throughout the raid.
He also accused the FBI of having files that drop underneath legal professional-consumer privilege.
