Bridge closed in Russia-held Kherson after HIMARS shelling: Reports

Authorities in the Russian-managed Ukrainian town of Kherson have shut the city’s only bridge throughout the Dnieper river immediately after it came less than hearth from U.S.-equipped higher mobility artillery rocket devices (HIMARS), according to Interfax and TASS reports on Wednesday.
The Antonovsky bridge has been shut for civilians but its structural integrity has not experienced from the shelling, Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the Russian-appointed town administration, instructed Interfax.
Independently, TASS quoted the official indicating that HIMARS experienced qualified the bridge.
A Ukrainian counteroffensive to recapture the southern location from Russia could probably benefit from the destruction of the bridge.
